How to use Savings Goals
Savings Goals helps members set financial targets, log contributions, and watch their progress fill up toward goals like a vacation, emergency fund, or big purchase.
Enable it
Owners turn this on from Admin -> Module Store -> find Savings Goals -> toggle on.
Where to find it
Once enabled, members open it at /savings-goals from the community navigation.
What you can do
- Click New Goal to create one: name, an emoji icon, target amount, current amount, deadline, optional monthly auto-contribution, and status.
- Add money to a goal by typing an amount in its Add box and pressing Enter or the Add button — it logs a contribution and a goal auto-completes when it hits target.
- View a goal's contribution history with View history.
- Read the totals at the top: total saved, total target, and goals completed.
- Filter goals by Active, Completed, or All; edit or delete any goal.
