Set up your profile
A complete profile helps other members recognize you, makes your messages feel personal, and shows up on leaderboards and member directories. Here's how to fill it out.
Steps
- Sign in to the community (email or Continue with Google).
- Click your avatar in the top-right corner, then choose Profile (or Account settings).
- Upload a profile photo. Square images look best.
- Set your display name — this is what appears on messages, reactions, and leaderboards.
- Write a short bio so others know who you are and what you're working on.
- Click Save.
First time here? Many communities run a short onboarding flow when you join. Completing it sets up your profile automatically and often earns you your first XP.
What others can see
Your photo, display name, and bio appear next to your chat messages, in member directories, and on leaderboards. Direct messages (DMs) stay private between you and the recipient.
