How to use Rate Calculator

Work out what to charge as a freelancer. Enter your numbers and get hourly, day, and monthly rates instantly — nothing is saved unless you save a rate card.

Enable it

Owners turn this on from Admin -> Module Store -> find Rate Calculator -> toggle on.

Where to find it

Once enabled, members open it at /rates from the community navigation.

What you can do

  • Enter your desired annual income, hours per week, working weeks per year, monthly business expenses, profit margin, and billable percentage.
  • See your Hourly Rate, Day Rate, and Monthly Rate recalculate live, plus an annual revenue breakdown.
  • Click Reset to return inputs to the defaults.
  • Click Save Rate Card, name it, and hit Save to store the result.
  • Click a saved card chip to reload its inputs; use Update to overwrite it with current numbers.
  • Delete a saved card with the trash icon (a confirmation is asked).
