How to use Parent Matching

Parent Matching helps you find other parents nearby with kids of a similar age and shared interests, so you can set up playdates and support each other.

Enable it

Owners turn this on from Admin -> Module Store -> find Parent Matching -> toggle on.

Where to find it

Once enabled, members open it at /parent-matching from the community navigation.

What you can do

  • Tap Create Profile to add your name, location, number of children, your kids' ages, interests, and a short bio, then toggle Visible to others on or off.
  • Browse the grid of parent cards, each showing a compatibility percentage based on matching kid ages and shared interests.
  • Use Filters to narrow results by kid age range and interests, and Clear filters to reset.
  • Tap Connect (heart) on another parent to send a connection request; it shows Pending then Connected.
  • Use Edit or Delete on your own profile card to update or remove it.
