How to use Pantry Tracker
Keep a running inventory of your pantry and get color-coded alerts before items expire.
Enable it
Owners turn this on from Admin -> Module Store -> find Pantry Tracker -> toggle on.
Where to find it
Once enabled, members open it at /pantry from the community navigation.
What you can do
- Click Add Item to reveal the form, then enter the item name, category, quantity, unit, and expiry date.
- Pick a category (produce, dairy, meat, grains, canned, frozen, spices, other).
- See expiry badges that color-code each item: red when expired or due today, amber when expiring within 3 days.
- Track stats for items expiring soon and items already expired.
- Filter the list by category, or click All to see everything.
- Remove an item once you've used it with the Remove button.
