How to use Mentor Matching

Mentor Matching lets mentors list their expertise and availability, while mentees browse the directory and request sessions.

Enable it

Owners turn this on from Admin -> Module Store -> find Mentor Matching -> toggle on. Requires the Business plan or higher.

Once enabled, members open it at /mentors from the community navigation.

Browse the Mentors tab to see each mentor's name, bio, expertise tags, availability, sessions completed, and rating.
Click Become a mentor to register yourself with your expertise, bio, and availability.
Click Request session on a mentor (when they're available) and enter the topic you want help with.
Track your own requests in the My requests tab, with statuses like pending, accepted, completed, or declined.
See community stats: total mentors, available mentors, sessions, and average rating.
