How to use Location Scouting

Location Scouting is a shared library of photography spots and creative venues, organized by category and rating so members can find the right place to shoot.

Enable it

Owners turn this on from Admin -> Module Store -> find Location Scouting -> toggle on.

Where to find it

Once enabled, members open it at /location-scouting from the community navigation.

What you can do

  • Review stats: total locations, number of categories, contributors, and average rating.
  • Search locations by name, description, or tag.
  • Filter by category: Urban, Nature, Architecture, Abandoned, Studio, or Other.
  • Browse location cards showing the rating, best time to shoot, and tags.
  • Add a spot with the Scout button.
