How to use Gear Reviews

Gear Reviews is where members rate and review equipment so the community can find the best gear for any niche — audio, photo, tech, outdoor, fitness, and more.

Enable it

Owners turn this on from Admin -> Module Store -> find Gear Reviews -> toggle on.

Where to find it

Once enabled, members open it at /gear from the community navigation.

What you can do

  • Click Write a review, then fill in the product name, brand, pick a category, set a star rating, add a summary, and list pros and cons (add or remove rows).
  • See summary cards: Total reviews, Avg rating, Top rated, and Mine.
  • Sort with the dropdown: Highest rated, Newest, or Most upvoted.
  • Filter reviews by category (or All / Mine) using the pills.
  • Open any review card to read the full detail, upvote it, or delete it if it's yours.
