How to use FIRE Calculator

FIRE Calculator estimates how much you need to retire early and how many years it will take, based on your savings rate and expected investment returns.

Enable it

Owners turn this on from Admin -> Module Store -> find FIRE Calculator -> toggle on. Requires the Pro plan or higher.

Where to find it

Once enabled, members open it at /fire-calculator from the community navigation.

What you can do

  • Enter your Annual income and Annual expenses.
  • Enter your Current investments, Current age, and Target retire age.
  • Adjust assumptions: Expected return %, Inflation rate %, and Withdrawal rate %.
  • Instantly read the result cards: FIRE Number, Years to FIRE, Coast FIRE, and Savings rate.
  • Review the year-by-year projection of balance, contributions, and growth.

This is a live calculator — type your numbers and the results update on screen. Nothing is saved; refreshing the page resets the inputs.
