Custom Domain

Point your own domain (like community.yourbrand.com) at your community instead of using the default subdomain.

Open it from Admin -> Custom Domain (the route is /admin/domain).

What you can do here

See your default subdomain (your-slug.onbonfire.com) with a link to open it.
Enter a custom domain in the Custom Domain field and click Connect domain.
Copy the CNAME target value to add at your DNS provider; apex domains use an A record pointing to the shown VPS IP instead.
Watch the verification status: pending DNS (auto re-checks every 30 seconds), verified, or error.
Re-check DNS manually, or Disconnect the domain to revert to the subdomain.

DNS propagation can take up to 48 hours; leave the page open and it re-checks automatically.
Once verified, SSL activates on the first request, so no extra certificate step is needed.
